Did we miss something? Is there a better/cleaner way to accomplish something? This is the place where you can suggest or promote your method of doing something. We know that the standards and best practices here may not fit your style. They were designed by a small groups of individuals and represent a good amount of learning.
If you do not have an account on this site to submit either comments or proposals one must be created for you first. Before that happens, you must submit a summary of your proposal to website@filemakerstandards.org. Notice: You must also include answers to the following questions.
If your proposal sounds like it will fit well into the standards and/or best practices we'll contact you with information about accessing an account on this website.
First, your account needs to have been verified and added to the proper group by an administrator. Upon logging into the site, you'll see the page icon (with plus sign) and you'll be able to add new pages to the /proposals section. For example, when adding a new proposal about "feature/suggestion x" you would specify /proposals/feature-x as the path and create the page there. Select an editor (we prefer the Markdown editor) and then compose your proposal.
If you simply want to provide feedback and input about the content covered on this site then we do have a level of access which will allow this type of feedback. Please note the maintainers of this site reserve all rights to remove any content they deem not suitable or within the spirit of the topics being covered here.
